When ordering, please provide the part number and description. In addition, be advised of the following:

SHIPPING: All orders are shipped primarily UPS, Fed-Ex ground, USPS, or via truck if oversized.  For express shipping, please inform us when placing your order. UPS/ Fed-Ex will NOT ship to P.O. boxes. Depending upon availability, add 7-10 business days for special order items. Special order upholstery, carpeting, etc. may take longer.

PAYMENTS: (Continental US/ Canada) We accept Visa and Mastercard, money orders, or cashier's checks. International orders, please see below. When on-site purchasing at THE VW STORE, cash is also accepted. For credit cards, include card number, expiration date, billing address used by credit card, and name as it appears on the card. The billing address must match the shipping address unless otherwise authorized by us. To protect the interest of all involved, we will verify the information to be true and correct before the purchased items are sent.  we will contact you, the customer, and the third party recipient to verify if there are are any questions or concerns. No personal checks accepted. Full payment due at time of purchase. Please note that all prices are subject to change without notice.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Preferred method of payment are as follows: certified check, money order, verified Pay Pal money transfer. We will ship international orders via USPS (United States Postal Service) only. Options are USPS air or USPS ship. Please keep in mind ship service takes a longer transit time. Over-sized items are the only exception for different transit considerations. 

REFUNDS/RETURNS/EXCHANGES: All returns must have a return authorization number issued by us. Please call. Returns will not be accepted without an RA #. All sales final after 30 days. Returns must be received in same condition as shipped to you. If the item(s) are found to be defective in any way or if a new item is returned, we will inspect them and will determine if the item(s) meet our criteria in order for you (the customer) to receive credit. Please include a copy of the invoice with (return) RA # on the outside of the box. Freight for returns is customer's responsibility unless part is found to be defective in any way. No COD or freight collect shipments will be accepted.

CORES: Refunds for cores are not guaranteed: cores must be inspected and must meet our criteria in order for you (the customer) to receive credit. Please provide a copy of the invoice with the core return.

DAMAGE CLAIMS: Inspect parts as soon as you receive them. Immediately report shipping damage to us.

When building your dune buggy, obtain assistance from a qualified, licensed builder.  Also have all welding performed by a certified, licensed welder.  Be certain there is nothing located so that it might injure the driver or passengers; be sure to allow for occupants to be out of position as they might be in an accident.  Pad all possible places where contact might be made by the driver or passengers.

The most carefully designed vehicle possible could not be safe, unless it is properly constructed, maintained and operated.  Always wear a helmet and eye protection.  Always wear a professionally installed lap belt and shoulder harness.  Never use the vehicle in an unsafe or illegal manner.

Berrien chassis are designed for pleasure riding.  They are not designed for racing or jumping.  'The VW Store' does not encourage, promote or recommend racing, jumping, or any type of hard, fast, or trick riding.  'The VW Store' makes no claims to the safety of these chassis for any purpose.
